Raizo was raised by the Ozunu Clan, to become their next successor of the clan. As a child, Raizo experienced severe training under the guidance of his “father”, Lord Ozunu. He was whipped and/or cut whenever he failed and was encouraged to hurt his ninja kin for their failures during their training. The only kindness he ever received was from Kiriko (Kylie Goldstein). As they grew older, Kiroko (Anna Sawai) and Raizo developed a romantic bond, however Kiriko’s desire to leave the Ozunu clan for freedom was greater. One stormy night, Kiriko decided to escape from the Ozunu. Kiriko encouraged Raizo to join, but he decided to stay. They kissed and she then climbed over the wall to freedom; she was caught and brought back by her ninja kin. Branded as a traitor, Kiriko was executed (a katana through her heart) by her elder ninja brother Takeshi (Rick Yune). When Kiriko died, Raizo begins to harbor resentment and doubt towards the Clan. When he completed his first hit, Lord Ozunu told him to execute an escaped kunoichi like Kiriko. He rebelled against Lord Ozunu by slashing his face with is blade-chain and fought against his ninja kin. Barely surviving his battle, he survived by falling into a nearby river. Raizo recovered and began interventions by foiling recent hits by the Ozunu. While staying in Berlin and waiting for the Ozunu’s next move, Raizo rented a small apartment where secretly continued to refine his training until it was time to act. One day, while washing his clothes, he was approached by an attractive asian woman to help her fold her sheets. Raizo exposed her as a kunoichi and she attempted to kill Raizo; Raizo won and hid her remains in the washer machine. By the time the owner came out, he only found her bloody remains in rinse cycle. Meanwhile, Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) is a Europol agent who investigates money linked to political murders and finds that it is linked to the Ozunu Clan. She defies her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), and retrieves secret agency files to find out more. The clan, finding out about the investigation, attempts to assassinate her, but she is rescued by Raizo. Mika convinced Raizo to meet with Maslow for protection and evidence against the Ozunu, but Raizo was intercepted by a task force for interrogation. Mika felt betrayed that Maslow would trick her that way, but Maslow assures Mika (in secret) that he’s still on her side and gave her a tracking device for emergencies. Mika was warning Maslow the dangers of keeping Raizo when the Ozunu ninjas infiltrated their secret base and began killing all officers. Mika freed Raizo and he lured the ninjas away as Mika tried to escape. Raizo killed and fended off as many ninjas as he can while Takeshi continues to trail him. Raizo and Mika managed to escape the fight, but Raizo had suffered mortal wounds around his stomach, however he insisted no hospitals and only rest in a private area. Mika then implanted the tracking device into Raizo. Unable to fend against the Ozunu, she hid outside the hotel until special forces arrive to help her. By the time they arrived, Ozunu ninjas have recovered Raizo and decided to send him back to their base for Lord Ozunu for prosecution. While hidden inside a steal locker, Raizo spent all this time using his healing techniques to heal all major injuries before reunited with his “father”. Lord Ozunu had Raizo tied to a stake, ready for execution and set as an example. Raizo angered Lord Ozunu more by being defiant to the end. Lord Ozunu struck against Raizo’s internal organs when he spat out the tracking device. Euro-special forces lead by Maslow stormed the hidden Ozunu base and killed most of the ninjas in the court yard. Takeshi and Raizo would face each other in the burning Ozunu house. Raizo was victorious and faced off his “father”. Lord Ozunu faced Raizo without fear, he used high speed shadow techniques to cut down Raizo. Mika arrived in attempt to save Raizo, only to be stabbed in the heart. Raizo used his remaining strength and used the same technique Lord Ozunu used earlier to literally disarm Lord Ozunu and killed him. After the battle, Raizo brought Mika out for medical attention. The feared the worse with a stab direct in the heart, but Mika’s heart was special, her heart is inches away where a normal human’s heart should be located. Mika survived and Raizo stayed behind what’s left of the Ozunu estate. He then looked over the same wall Kiriko climbed over in attempt to sense what Kiriko saw over the wall, Raizo smirked over the landscape and horizon.

Lord Cutler Beckett executes anyone suspected of or associated with piracy. Beckett, who now possesses Davy Jones’s heart, orders Jones to destroy all pirate ships. Condemned prisoners sing a song to compel the nine pirate lords comprising the (fourth) Brethren Court to convene at Shipwreck Cove. However, Captain Jack Sparrow, pirate lord of the Caribbean, never appointed his successor, and therefore must attend. Captain Barbossa leads Will, Elizabeth, Tia Dalma, and the Black Pearl crewmen to rescue Jack. Sao Feng, pirate lord of the South China Sea, possesses a map to the entrance to Davy Jones’s Locker, where Jack is imprisoned. The British Royal Navy, led by Mercer, attack Feng’s bathhouse. During the battle, Will bargains with Feng for the Pearl in exchange for Sparrow, so Will can rescue his father from The Flying Dutchman.
The crew journeys into the Locker and successfully retrieves Sparrow. As The Black Pearl seeks an escape route, dead souls are seen floating by underwater. Tia Dalma reveals that Davy Jones was appointed by Calypso, Goddess of the Sea and his lover, to ferry the dead to the next world. In return, Jones was allowed to step upon land for one day every ten years to be with his love; but when she failed to meet him, the scorned captain abandoned his duty and transformed into a monster. Governor Swann, now dead, reveals that whoever stabs Jones’s heart becomes the Dutchman’s immortal captain.
…
Will is bound to sail the sea as The Flying Dutchman’s captain. Will and Elizabeth have one day together where they consummate their marriage. He departs at sunset, but first gives Elizabeth the Dead Man’s Chest. Barbossa commandeers the Pearl, stranding Jack and Gibbs in Tortuga. Having anticipated Barbossa’s deception, Sparrow removed the map’s middle that shows the path to the Fountain of Youth. Jack departs the trilogy just as he entered, alone in a dinghy on the open sea. Ten years later, Elizabeth and her son Will,[2] stand atop a seacliff; The Flying Dutchman appears on the horizon with Will Turner aboard.

The East India Trading Company arrives in Port Royal, Jamaica, to extend its monopoly in the Caribbean and purge piracy from its waters. Leading the expansion is Lord Cutler Beckett, a powerful and ruthless EITC agent who arrests Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner as they are about to be married. Beckett threatens to execute them and the absent ex-Commodore James Norrington for aiding Captain Jack Sparrow’s escape, but he offers clemency if Will agrees to hunt for Sparrow and his magical compass which points to what its possessor wants most. An informant in Tortuga leads Will to the Black Pearl run aground on Pelegosto, a cannibal-inhabited island where Jack and his crew are captive. Jack hid there after “Bootstrap Bill” Turner, Jack’s former crewmate and now an indentured sailor aboard Captain Davy Jones’ ghost ship, the Flying Dutchman, delivered Jack the Black Spot, a mark signifying his debt to Jones is due. Thirteen years before, Jones raised the Pearl from the ocean depths and made Jack its captain. In exchange, Jack must now serve aboard the Dutchman for 100 years.
Will, Jack, and a few crew members escape their captors, unexpectedly recruiting Pintel and Ragetti along the way, and head for sea. Will learns that Jack has been searching for a particular key. He agrees to give Will the compass if he helps him find the key and the object it unlocks. Seeking assistance from Tia Dalma, an obeah priestess, Jack learns the compass fails to work because he does not know what he truly wants. The key, Tia tells him, unlocks the Dead Man’s Chest containing Davy Jones’ still-beating heart—to avoid lost love’s pain, Jones carved the heart from his chest and buried it. Whoever possesses the heart controls Davy Jones, thereby controlling the world’s oceans. Back at sea, the Dutchman encounters Sparrow, who deviously attempts to barter Will in exchange for himself. Jones demands 100 souls within three days in exchange for Jack’s freedom and keeps Will as a “good faith payment,” leaving Jack only 99 more souls to harvest.
…
Davy Jones declares Jack’s debt settled, although he becomes enraged when he discovers an empty Dead Man’s Chest. Meanwhile, Norrington makes his way to Port Royal and delivers the heart and the Letters of Marque to Cutler Beckett. Elizabeth, Will, and the surviving Pearl crew seek refuge with Tia Dalma, who asks if they would be willing to save Jack from Davy Jones’ Locker. When all agree, Tia Dalma sends them on a journey to World’s End to rescue Jack, saying they will need a captain who knows those waters—the resurrected Captain Barbossa.

Late one night, British animal rights activists break into the Cambridge Primate Research Facility to free chimpanzees being used for medical research. The local scientist warns the activists that the chimps are infected with something he only calls “Rage,” but the activists disregard him and set a chimp free. It immediately attacks and infects the activists and scientist.
28 days later, a bicycle courier named Jim (Cillian Murphy) awakens from a coma in a deserted hospital. As he leaves the hospital, he discovers London is completely deserted and rife with signs of catastrophe. Jim is soon discovered and chased through the streets by infected people before being rescued by two survivors, Selena (Naomie Harris) and Mark (Noah Huntley), who rush him to their hideout in the London Underground. They reveal that while Jim was comatose, the virus spread uncontrollably among the populace, turning most people into vicious monsters (“the Infected”) and resulting in societal collapse, possibly on a global scale.
Selena and Mark accompany Jim to his parents’ house, where he discovers that they committed suicide. That night, two of the Infected attack the survivors, and when the fight ends they discover that Mark is bleeding and is likely infected. Selena immediately kills him with a machete, explaining to Jim that infection is spread through the blood and overwhelms its victims in seconds, rendering them deadly to others. She warns that should he become infected, she will kill him “in a heartbeat.” As the two journey through the derelict city the next day, Selena rules out intimacy between her and Jim, declaring that only the fight for survival remains. They discover two more survivors, Frank (Brendan Gleeson) and his teenage daughter Hannah (Megan Burns), holed up in an abandoned block of flats. Invited to spend the night, Selena and Jim privately debate whether they should remain with Frank and Hannah. Jim says they seem like good people, while Selena fears they will slow her down, warning Jim that putting others ahead of one’s own personal survival is a sure way to get killed.
…
Selena and Hannah rush Jim into a deserted hospital, where Selena performs life-saving emergency procedures. 28 days later, a bandaged Jim is shown waking up in recovery again, this time on one side of a double bed in a remote cottage. Downstairs, he finds Selena sewing large swaths of fabric when Hannah appears. The three rush outside and unfurl a huge cloth banner, adding the final letter to the word “HELLO” laid out on the meadow. As a military jet flies over the landscape, the Infected are shown lying helplessly by the road, dying of starvation. After the jet zooms past the three waving survivors and their distress sign, Selena wonders aloud, “Do you think he saw us this time?”
